Every two years, PAGB members elect the board of directors who will lead our community. All eligible members are encouraged to participate.

Overview

PAGB members can review election details, candidate information, eligibility requirements, voting steps, and results guidance here.

Voting Process

When voting is open, eligible members select the active election, verify their membership ID and email address, review the ballot, choose one candidate per position, and submit the ballot once.

Who Can Vote?

  • Current PAGB member in good standing
  • Active one-year membership on voting day
  • Individual, Couple, or Family membership; Student members are not eligible to vote
  • Membership active for at least 4 weeks before voting opens

Who Can Run?

  • Current PAGB member in good standing for at least one year
  • Nominations must be submitted during the official nomination period
  • Self-nominations and nominations by other members are accepted
  • Candidate profiles will be shared with members before voting opens

Open Positions

Board Positions

All board positions are elected by PAGB members every two years.

President

Chief executive of PAGB. Chairs board meetings, represents PAGB publicly, and oversees all operations.

Vice President

Supports the President, chairs committees, and assumes Presidential duties in the President's absence.

General Secretary

Manages PAGB communications, records minutes, maintains membership records, and handles correspondence.

Treasurer

Oversees PAGB finances, maintains accounts, presents financial reports, and manages dues collection.

Director of Social Affairs

Coordinates community social events, outreach programs, and member engagement activities.

Director of Cultural Programs

Plans and manages cultural events celebrating Pakistani arts, music, literature, and heritage.

Director of Community Services

Connects members to community resources, civic opportunities, and support services.

Director of Youth Affairs

Develops and oversees youth programs, student engagement, and leadership development.
